Loaner laptops are available for one-month checkout! Students, staff, or faculty interested in borrowing a computer can fill out the laptop agreement form below and email it to librarian@tlu.edu or drop a printed copy off at the library front desk.
After the form is completed and a librarian contacts you, a laptop will be prepared and checked out to your account. A librarian can hand it to you in person, or it can be made available for pickup at the library front desk under your name (full instructions for pickup will be sent via email to your school Outlook account). For security purposes, laptop pickup will require a TLU student ID or any form of state/federal photo ID.
These laptops check out for a period of 30 days at a time with renewals possible pending availability during the spring and fall semesters. There are 10 total laptops available. For the full details and terms/conditions of the library's new loaner PC program, please see the attached form. If you have any questions, contact us via 830-372-8100 or librarian@tlu.edu!
Other laptop options: In addition to the library laptop service, another option is the TLU Campus Store (bookstore) laptop rental service. The service costs $50 per semester. Students should contact the Campus Store Manager, Gail Roberson, at bookstore@tlu.edu for more details.
The Bambu 3D printer is available for class projects and other TLU assignments with a professor’s approval!
All prints are currently done for you and at the availability of a library staff member. Print requests can take up to 7 days, depending on staff availability and demand.
For the full details and parameters of use, please see the 3D Print Request Form available below.
