Welcome to the Spring 2024 newsletter for the Blumberg Memorial Library at TLU! If you have questions about library resources and services, email librarian@tlu.edu.

Loaner laptops are now available for one-month checkout

• Students, staff, or faculty interested in borrowing a computer will need to fill out a laptop agreement form and correspond with a librarian by email to finalize the checkout. (librarian@tlu.edu)
• Treat the laptops with care! If a laptop is lost or damaged, you will be responsible for a replacement or repair fee.
• Renewals are possible, but if another user is waiting on a laptop and no other units are available, your renewal request might not be granted.

The library CoLab now has a 3D printer

• 3D printers use material (in this case, plastic) to build a 3D object based on the instructions in a digital file. 
• The library's 3D printer is available for class projects and other TLU assignments with a professor's approval.
• To schedule printing time or ask questions, email or call E-Resources Librarian Nate Aubin at 830-372-8102 or NBaubin@tlu.edu.

New look for room B12

• The Library Instruction Lab B12 has been updated with a new layout, new whiteboards, and large screens. 
• The room includes 20 student workstations and one instructor workstation.
• The room is reserved for library instruction and can be reserved for occasional use by other classes. Contact librarian@tlu.edu.
