Librarians offer in-depth research help.
During library open hours, ask at the main desk for help finding what you need. The desk is usually staffed by student workers - if you have in-depth research questions, just let them know that you want to meet with a librarian.
Click on the Ask a Question tab on the right side of a library web page. It will bring you either to live chat, or to a place where you can leave a message.
Text your question to 830-490-1213.

The library catalog is the gateway to finding books on your subject. Search the PrimoDiscovery for books by using key words on your topic. You could also search for a specific title or author. You can limit the results to books on the left side of the results page. Here is an example of an advanced search for books by C. S. Lewis that use the word fiction in the description. If the item is in the physical collection, you will see the call number and the location under the title.
Blumberg Memorial Library staff members have also begun tagging some of their favorite books with the tag "leisure" in PrimoDiscovery. You can search for "leisure" under user tags to see some of the books and DVDs we like.
Blumberg Memorial Library arranges materials by the Library of Congress Classification System. Fiction books can frequently be found in the P - Language and Literature section but leisure reading could be anywhere in the collection. Using PrimoDiscovery or asking for assistance will help you find a book more quickly than perusing the shelves.

Blumberg Memorial Library frequently has books on display for monthly events or some of the new books we acquire. Look in the display cases on the first floor for some ideas on potential reading materials.
If you want even more reading options, you can access print books, ebooks, and audiobooks from a public library. Public libraries specialize in meeting the needs of their communities, especially for leisure reading in several formats. You can use your TLU ID to access resources at the Seguin public library by getting a Seguin Public Library card.
You may be able to download the Libby app, find your library, and sign in with your library card number to borrow ebooks and audiobooks. Visit the website for your town's library for more detailed instructions.
