COMM 236 (Bisha) - Public Relations: Welcome

In this library session, we will explore some resources for public relations research. If you ever have questions about research, we would love to help you! Just email or stop by the library desk.

Group Activity

In your groups, explore one resource. Then give a short presentation teaching your classmates about the resource.

  • What can you do with this resource?
  • Who makes it?
  • How is it organized?
  • Show one example of a search you can do and a piece of information you can find.
  • How do you think it could be useful, or not useful, in public relations research?

Searching in newspapers

The TLU Library subscribes to several newspaper databases, letting you get articles that aren't free online.

Ask a Librarian

Reference desk

TLU librarians offer in-depth research help.

During library open hours, ask at the main desk for help finding what you need or help setting up an appointment with a librarian.

Click on the Ask a Question tab on the right side of a library web page. It will bring you either to live chat, or to a place where you can leave a message.
