“These are books and articles that synthesize and report on secondary sources for general readers, such as textbooks, articles in encyclopedia and mass-circulation publications like Psychology Today. . .” (Booth, Colomb, and Williams 69).

Reference Books

Reference books are a good way to begin research. They can help you launch future research by providing background material, key terms, and citations to more detailed sources.
