Finding, Using and Citing Images

Search TLU Library Collections and Catalog Through PrimoDiscovery

PrimoDiscovery Search for Online and Physical Resources

Advanced Search

To find open access images in PrimoDiscovery use the Available Online and the Open Access filters on the left-hand side column. This will find resources that may contain images. Always check the rights on the source itself. Remember to Apply the filters with the button at the bottom. Free access is not equivalent to open access, true open access allows you to re-use the image under a Creative Commons License. An image can be freely accessible on the web, and still under full Copyright protection. Check Using Images tab for more information on Creative Commons Licenses.
